School Prices and Experiences

Minimum of 20 paying children per schools visit. School visits follow the Central Bedfordshire term times only. School visits must be pre-booked.
- A day out to Mead Open Farm, providing the perfect mix of hands-on activities, learning opportunities and great fun for children of all ages.
- 2 allocated activities:
September - March: Stroke rabbits at Bunny Hop and brush a pony at Pony Grooming
April - July: Stroke rabbits at Bunny Hop and enjoy a dedicated Tractor & Trailer Ride
- Lots of farm animals to meet and animal feed for the children to share.
- Outdoor play, including adventure log play, jumping pillows, sand and water play, go-karts and JCB Digger Village.
- Indoor soft play.
- An indoor picnic room, as well as outdoor picnic areas.
- Coach and car parking.
- Free planning visit for trip organisers to carry out risk assessments.
- A downloadable risk assessment form to assist you in drawing up your own risk assessment.
In between or after the scheduled activities in the Farmyard Experience, there’ll be plenty of time to discover all the other fun things to do at Mead Open Farm. From running, jumping, sliding and swinging in Shaggy’s huge indoor play area and Topsy Turvy Towers outdoor adventure playground, to learning about lots of different animals.
School visits must be pre-booked.
