Christmas at Mead Open Farm FAQs FAQS

 

Included in your Christmas at Mead Open Farm ticket is:

- Entry to Father Christmas' Grotto and a group story with him

- A teddy from the Make a Bear workshop

- A Toy from his Grotto 

- Gingerbread decorating with Mother Christmas

- Entry into Christmas HQ

- Make a bag of Reindeer Food from the Reindeer Food Factory 

- Entry to The Pudding Club Show

- Entry to the Magical Forest 

- Visiting the Alpine Village 

- All indoor and outdoor play

- Access to all barns and animal activities

 

The time slot is when you meet Father Christmas. Please arrive at his grotto 5/10 minutes before your time slot and please make sure you arrive at the farm at least 20 minutes before your time slot.

Please note, if you miss your time slot there is no guarantee we can fit you into a later slot and no refund will be provided.

Yes! We recommend getting to the farm at least 20 minutes before your booking to see Father Christmas but you are welcome to enter the farm anytime from 9:30am as your booking is only for Father Christmas and there are plenty of other Christmas and farm activities to do throughout the day.*

*If your time slot for Father Christmas is prior to this please still arrive 20 minutes before your slot.

If you miss your slot to see Father Christmas, we will try to re-book you onto a later slot that day but we cannot guarantee this. We recommend arriving at Mead Open Farm 20 minutes before your booking.

Yes, all Christmas at Mead Open Farm visits must be pre-booked.

 

A Child Under 1 ticket includes full entry to the farm and Christmas activities. They will receive a toy and bear, but not take part in reindeer food making and gingerbread decorating.

Please note that everyone requires a ticket, no matter their age.

 

Yes. Members get a 50% early bird discount off tickets until 31st July. From 1st August members receive 25% off tickets until October 31st.

Please note, you must have a valid membership from the time of booking and on your visit (you must purchase general admission tickets for friends or family who do not have memberships).

If your membership is cancelled after purchasing Member Christmas as Mead Open Farm tickets, your tickets will be automatically cancelled.

If you do not have a valid membership on the day, you will need to pay the extra on arrival.

Yes! If you require a carer, please book a Disabled and Carer ticket and this will allow entry for both people. Please note, you must bring proof of disability (PIP, DLA or Blue Badge).

Yes! Everyone attending Christmas at Mead Open Farm requires a ticket, including children under 1.

 

Yes! Your ticket gives you access to the whole farm, including all indoor and outdoor play and all animal barns and activities. 

Please note, SkyTrail, the rock climbing wall, Shaggy’s On Road Adventure and Tractor and Trailer rides will not be open during your visit.

There is a £5 fee per ticket to change the date, subject to availability. Tickets can be moved to a different time on the same date subject to availability.

This requires a minimum of 48 hours notice.

Ingredients for the gingerbread will not be confirmed until closer to the event. We will have an allergen alternative available

No. We only allow medical assistance dogs at Mead Open Farm

 

All tickets are non-refundable and no credit vouchers will be issued. This is applicable to all scenarios.

We are able to move your tickets to an alternative date at a fee of £5 per ticket. Please note that this is subject to availability and requires a minimum of 48 hours notice.
