Mead Open Farm to re-open Mid July – Information about our Drive-Thru Farm Shop
As you know, whilst we have been closed, we have operated a social distance Drive-thru Farm Shop. The decision to do this was to not only support as many of our staff as possible by un-furloughing them, but we also wanted to provide a safe and quick shopping experience for the local community.
Having now been given government permission to re-open the attraction, we have thought long and hard about how we can keep the Drive-Thru Open but have reached the conclusion that regrettably, this is not a viable option. It is for this reason that our last day as a Drive-Thru will be on Friday 3rd July 2020. We shall be open as usual on this day, until 7.30pm for our popular take-away service.
We want to thank each and every one of you for your support during the last few months and we look forward to welcoming you back to Mead Open Farm mid July.
